The airport Taba International (English: Taba International Airport, Arabic:مطار طابا الدولي‎, Maṭār Ṭābā ad-Daulī) is 16 kilometers northwest of the egyptian city Taba close to the Egyptian-Israeli border.

The airport was used by the Israeli forces as a result of the Six Day War in 1972 Etzion Air Force Base created. After the withdrawal of the armed forces, the airport was handed over to the Egyptians in 1982, initially El Nakb Airport was called. The airport is served by several European airlines and charter airlines. The airport has two 4,000 meter long runways, but only one of them is used. The airport was modernized in 2016.

In 2009 around 340,000 passengers were handled. The number of passengers is falling from year to year. In 2014 41,142, 2015 13,488 and 2018 only 7,580 passengers were handled.[1]

Taxis and tour operators' buses are the main routes between the airport and Taba.

The airport is occasionally served by charter companies during the season.
