Fort Peck is a city of Montana located in the Missouri River Country.

The town of Fort Peck was designed and built by government engineers for the purpose of serving as a base camp for the construction of the Fort Peck Dam in 1933, one of the largest projects in the country at that time. The dam, located on the Missouri River, spans over 5,5 km. The place was first a fur trading post known by the same name.
