Fujairah(also Fujairah) is the fifth largest of the seven emirates with approx. 195,000 inhabitants United Arab Emirates. It was created in 1952 by splitting off from Sharjah and essentially consists of two main areas that lie on the coast of the Gulf of Oman. The metropolitan region around the capital Fujairah in the south of the emirate has around 150,000 inhabitants.
