The valley is surrounded by mountains of which the best known are the 1754 m high Jebel Rum mountain. and the one a little further away from Jebel Wmm Adani than with its 1830 m. it is considered the highest of the Jordan.

Montreal Castle
  • 1 Montreal (in Arabic Shobak or Sawbak). Crusader castle built in 1115 located in the eastern part of Wadi Araba, built on the side of a conical rocky mountain.
