Givat Shmuel (Samuel Hill) is a small city of nearly 30,000 in Israel. It is in the Center District, which also includes Tel Aviv, Bnei Brak, and Petah Tikva.

The urban service is provided by Egged, Dan, Kavim and Afikim. The price of a trip is ₪5.90.
- From Tel Aviv, take buses 45/69/169. Bus 45 is operated by Dan and bypasses Tel Aviv Center railway station at Al Parashat Drachim street, This bus stops only at Jabotinsky street and Bar Ilan University inside Givat Shmuel. Bus 69 starts at Tel Aviv Center railway station and stops at most bus stops in Givat Shmuel. Bus 169 starts at Tel Aviv CBS and does a similar route to 69, This bus has only 5 trips each day to each direction. Both routes 69 and 169 are operated by Kavim.
On weekend nights (not including Friday nights), take bus 463. The bus is operated by Dan.
- From Petah Tikva, take Egged bus 145 at Beilinson Hospital. Another bus from Petah Tikva is the Afikim bus 47 that stops at more parts of the city than bus 145. Yet Another bus from Petah Tikva to Givat Shmuel is the Dan bus 292 from southern Petah Tikva, This bus stops only at Jabotinsky street inside Givat Shmuel.
Intercity service from other locations in Israel
The intercity service in Givat Shmuel stop on highway 4 only at Givat Shmuel Interchange and Yoseftal Neighborhood bridge (except Metropoline bus 358 that enters the city itself). You will be needed to transfer to one of the local routes to enter Givat Shmuel itself.
- From Haifa, take the train from one of the railway station to Tel Aviv Center railway station. Transfer to buses 45/69/169 to Givat Shmuel. The train from Haifa to Tel Aviv costs ₪28.5.
- From Jerusalem, take bus 400. ₪16.
By car

- From Haifa, take Route 2 south to Route 4.
- From Tel Aviv or Jerusalem, take Route 4 North.

By bicycle
Like most of Israel, it is easy to navigate the city by bicycle. Always watch for cars.

Inside Givat Shmuel, bus 8 is a local circular bus that stops all parts of the city. Also, you can use the other urban service buses that run thru the city like 17, 18, 69 and more. Look at the bus stop nearest you (it shouldn't be too far) or ask a local for help.

By car
Givat Shmuel is welcome to cars, but there are many narrow and one way roads. Also, be prepared for roundabouts/traffic circles.
By foot
Givat Shmuel is very walkable. Watch when crossing streets and be ready to switch sidewalks several times on the same road due to cars parked on the sidewalk or because the sidewalk ends. Be sure to map out very carefully where you are going if you have a destination in mind. It is easy to get lost. Google Maps can sometimes be inaccurate.
