Gold coast is a big city in Queensland and the sixth largest city Australia and the largest city that is not a state capital.

In addition to beach activities, Gold Coast offers many other attractions. Due to the fact that bull sharks are relatively common in the rivers, you should only go swimming at designated bathing areas. Even lakes that have no visible surface connection are connected to the rivers by underground channels and are therefore not free from sharks. Stingrays are also present in these water systems.
