Gołuchów - a village located in the south-eastern part Greater Poland Voivodeship and Pleszew poviat, is the seat the commune of Gołuchów. It is located between two cities: Pleszew and Kalisz. Despite its small size, the town is very popular with tourists. The Działyński Castle
  • It is definitely the biggest attraction on a national scale The Działyński Castle. The building, famous also abroad, is situated on the river Dark once called Trzemna. Residence, imitating in its form castles on the Loire, is situated on the northern edge of the village in a spacious park of 162 ha. Its origins probably date back to 1560, when it was the voivode of Brzeg and Kujawy Rafał IV Leszczyński he erected a brick defensive manor in Gołuchów. This object, although small, makes a really amazing impression. Outside, we have numerous towers, cloisters, wonderful decorations, sculptures, figures, portals and a terrace known from several films, while inside we have beautiful interiors, furniture, fireplaces, paintings, tapestries, rare museum exhibits. It is a real gem among Polish monuments, and what is more, it is surrounded by a nice park with an arboretum, a magnificent palace, several manor buildings, a bison farm and a stylish restaurant. In 1951, the castle was taken over by the National Museum in Poznań and it functions as its branch until today. So there is something to watch and admire!
  • Beautiful stretches around the castle landscaped park, which was built in the second half of the nineteenth century according to the concept of Jan Działyński and has an area of ​​over 13,000 ha. Today it is a shadow of a former park, but still contains over 40 natural monuments. There are various court buildings, including the mausoleum of Princess Isabella and a beautiful residential palace called Annexe. It houses the only one in Poland Forestry Museumwhich also occupies other buildings.
  • A little further to the northwest, in the nearby forest, there is the only one in Greater Poland bison breeding. It is actually a mini-zoo, because you can also see fallow deer and wild boars here. The fenced area of ​​24 ha is home to a herd of bison, which were brought in 1977 from breeding centers in Białowieża, Pszczyna and Smardzewice. In April 1997 they were joined by a group of white fallow deer which had been donated by The Gucwiński family from the Zoological Garden in Wroclaw. The farm is an integral part Forest Culture Center.
  • St. Jadwiga - the largest in Wielkopolska and the sixth largest in the country erratic boulder. It is Scandinavian gray granite. Currently partially damaged by smashing. Height - 3.5 m, length - 8.5 m, width - 6.5 m, circumference - 22 m. There are many popular legends associated with this natural monument. Kamień is located 2 km from Gołuchów, in a large forest complex called the Jedlec forest. In the forest there is a mass grave of several thousand victims murdered by the Nazis during World War II.
  • Resort - Located among forests, by an artificial lake with an area of ​​51 ha. Sandy beach, guarded bathing beach, bungalows, campsite, water equipment rental, gastronomy open seasonally.
