Grantown-on-Spey is a small town on the northern edge of the scottishCairngorms.

By plane
The closest airport is in Inverness Airport
(IATA: INV), which can be reached in about an hour. Much further away (driving time 2 hours) is that Aberdeen airport(IATA: ABZ) and, 3-4 hours that Edinburgh Airport(IATA: EDI).
By train
The next train stations are Aviemore and Carrbridge on the Highland Main Line, about 30 km southwest or Forres on the Inverness - Aberdeen line, approximately 25 miles north. From there you can only continue on the road.
