Western Greenland is a tourist region of the Greenland.
To know
West Greenland is home to the capital, Nuuk, and is the part of Greenland that anyone who has only seen stereotypical images would probably think of. Large icebergs can be seen floating in the sea on dog sled rides going from one small settlement to another. In these settlements, fish and shark meat are often hung outside the small colorful houses with the constant barking of dogs in the background.
