The Corsica is a language of Latin origin, which was born with the sardinian and broke away from him in the Middle Ages to get closer to the Tuscan (who gave birth toItalian, national language ofItaly unified); we say, scientifically speaking, that it belongs to the Italo-Romanesque ensemble (in the same way as the Venetian, the Tuscan, the Sicilian for example).
