hung Yen is a province located in the center of the Red River Delta of Vietnam. The provincial capital is Hung Yen city.

The administrative center of the province is Hung Yen city, located 64 km southeast of Hanoi, 50 km southwest of Hai Duong city.
Hung Yen is located in the center of the Northern Delta, in the northern key economic region, a low-lying plain, without forests, mountains and sea. The elevation of the land is not uniform but forms alternating bands, zones, and high and low areas like waves.
