Harrisburg, Pennsylvania has been the capital of the US state since 1812 Pennsylvania. It is located in Pennsylvania County and is its administrative seat. The city was founded in the 18th century on the banks of the Susquehanna Rivers founded. Harrisburg became world famous in 1979 due to an accident in the neighboring nuclear power plant, which has long since been closed Three Mile Island Nuclear Power Plant
