- It Bloso domain of Hofstade[1] is a sports infrastructure within a 130 hectare nature reserve. Recommended if you want to spend a day at the beach. There are two ponds in the domain that have their origins in the construction (sand extraction) of the Brussels-Mechelen train connection. A sandy beach has been built on one of these ponds where you can go swimming. In the Bloso domain you can also practice various sports such as sailing and rowing. Anglers can also go fishing if they buy a day permit. For hiking, there are also trails around the ponds.

Sports hall access hours: 8 am – 11 pm (weekends only open for matches). It is best to call the opening hours of the swimming pool, these are different for every day. There are days when it is open until 9pm, so very handy for those who want to go swimming in the evening (after work).
