Honiara on the north coast of Guadalcanal is the only real and capital of the Solomon Islands.

background

Outside the small city center, the development is rather loose and spacious. The main east-west axis of the city, which has its own Capital City District is Mendana Ave., which continues east as the Kukum Highway to the airfield.
