Huaraz is in the center of Callejón de Huaylas in Peru at 3090m. It is probably the place for mountaineers and the starting point for many excursions into the cordillera blanca. Between May and September mostly blue sky and sun with pleasant temperatures.

- Albergue Churup. A. Figueroa clean, beautiful rooms, internet, loundry service, kitchen to cook yourself. Very nice lounge on the top floor with panorama window and fireplace, roof terrace.
