Houses is a place and municipality in the Dutch province North Holland in the area The Throw.
Arrive
Huizen can be reached by car via the exit "Blaricum/Huizen" on the A1 and via the exit "Huizen" on the A27. From the A1, the provincial road 527 leads to Huizen.
Huizen previously also had a public transport to water connection between Almere Haven en Huizen, called Aqualiner, but it was discontinued at the end of September 2006.
Travel around
Several bus lines run in Huizen, which connect Huizen with the various train stations in the area. This is how a connection is made Hilversum (via Houses) to bussum and Huizen is connected to these places by separate lines. All these lines are provided by bus company Connexxion.
