You can rent mountain bikes and drive about 40 km off-road. It mainly goes through forest areas south of Hulst.

You can go shopping in the city 7 days a week. However, around 50% of the shops are closed on Tuesdays. Shops are open normally on Sundays and Belgian public holidays such as May 1st, July 11th and 11th, August 15th, November 1st and 11th.
There is a weekly market every Monday and a market only with vegetables and fruit every Thursday.
