Iloilo is the largest city on the island of Panay In the Philippines. There are no actual attractions, but it differs from many big Filipino cities in its clarity and cleanliness. A good day can be spent in Joy if you are on a road trip south from Manila or vice versa. There is also access to the island of Guimaras.
Ceres Bus Station is 7 km north of the city center. Jump into the jeep that reads Jako Liko Tagbak and tell the driver to stay away at Ceres Terminal.
Fast ferries to Bacolod to Negros leave along the river just east of the center. The journey to Bacolod takes just over an hour.
