Venezuelan Caribbean islands is an island region of the Venezuela.

The Venezuela it has more coasts and islands than any other destination of the Caribbean. Venezuela remains the last untouched part of the Caribbean, maintaining its authentic beauty and idiosyncrasy. Just to mention a few islands: Los Roques, Las Aves archipelago, Tortuga, Margarita.

- New Sparta (Nueva Esparta) - Together with the Federal Dependencies it is the only island state in the country. Located in the north of the country, it consists of three main islands: Margarita, Coche is Cubagua.
- Federal Dependencies - Venezuelan Federal Dependencies include all the islands off the coast of Venezuela in the Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Venezuela, with the exception of those in the state of New Sparta.
Urban centers
- Cumaná - Market town, east of Puerto de la Cruz and Mochima, full of things to do during the day.
- Mochima - Small fishing village located within the Mochima National Park.
- Puerto La Cruz - Puerto La Cruz does not have a historical and artistic heritage to enhance, however the lively nightlife, the beautiful sea walkPaseo Colón) and above all the proximity to some renowned beaches and a natural park of rare beauty such as Mochima National Park (Parque Nacional de Mochima), make the city an important base for excursions and transit tourism.

- Mochima National Park - One of the places with the highest dolphin spotting rate in the world.
How to get
The islands are easily accessible by frequent small boats that depart from Mochima, some were deserted in 1997 with more being "commercialized" with beach amenities such as restaurants. One of the best ways to see the southernmost Caribbean islands and surrounding islands South Americans is via a cruise.
