Itamonte is a city in south in Minas Gerais.
To arrive
- for those who go from São Paulo or Rio de Janeiro, take the BR-116/Via Dutra until Steps Engineer and then the BR-354, which passes beside the Itatiaia National Park, up to 11 km after the border of the state of Rio.
- In Belo Horizonte, through the BR-381/Fernão Dias for 315 km towards the south, then take the BR-267, passing by Cambuquira, until caxambu, for 68 km; then take the BR-354 for 50 km. Another way is through BR-040 until Congonhas and then by BR-383 to Caxambu and the rest is the same.
