javea is a village located in a bay between the Cabo de San Antonio and the Cabo de la Nao. It is the place where one first sees the sun rise from all over the world Spanish mainland. It is sheltered from the cold north wind by the Montgo massif. From the Montgo (753 m) you have a beautiful view. In clear weather you can even see the island 100 kilometers away Ibiza see lying.
