North Jeolla - Jeolla del Norte

North Jeolla (전라북도, 全 羅 北 道) is a province located in the southwest of South Korea.

  • 2 Gimje - the location of Geumsansa, one of the most famous Buddhist temples in South Korea.

  • 7 Namwon - is the city of origin of several important titles of Korean classical literature, such as Chunhyangjeon Y Heungbujeon. Chunhyangjeon was written for Pansori at first, but then people got to know the story as a novel. It is a representative Korean love story written in the Joseon period (1392-1910). Namwon is also the setting for the story of Heungbujeon, another of Korea's leading works of classical literature.
