Kamouraska is a region located in the eastern part of Quebec to Canada. It is recognized worldwide for the beauty of its landscapes and its sunsets. It is an ideal ecotourism destination.

Kamouraska is a regional county municipality (MRC) located in the region of Bas-Saint-Laurent. It is recognized for its rural character and remarkable sunsets. The resort to observe the magnificent landscapes is an important activity and several promontories have been built for this purpose. It is a great place for outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, snowmobiling, camping, fishing and hunting. The region is also a cultural treasure thanks to its history, heritage sites and museums.

It is at Kamouraska that the St. Lawrence begins to change into the sea.

Quebec Highway 20.svg Highway 20 is the access route to the region from Montreal and Quebec. From Quebec, it is a journey of 145 km. Highway 20 is also the access route from the east of the Quebec. From Rimouski, it is a journey of 168 km. It is also possible to take Route 132 instead of Highway 20. This is slower, but offers a better view of the St. Lawrence River.

Qc289.svg From the southeast, it is possible to take route 289 to reach Kamouraska. This joins the border of New Brunswick and goes notably through Pohenegamook. However, from New Brunswick, it is faster to take Route 2 which becomes Route 185 in Quebec. It joins Highway 20 at Wolf River ; then all you have to do is join Kamouraska by heading west on this highway.
