Agha Bozorg mosque
- 1 Agha Bozorg mosque. The brick-built mosque dates from the 11th century. In a recess in the inner courtyard of the mosque there is a Koran school (medrese) which is still in operation today.
- 2 Fin garden (Bāgh-e Fin). The gardens are about 6 kilometers southwest of the city center. The wells are fed by a spring. The present garden was laid out for Shah Abbas I (1571–1629), but there is evidence that a garden existed before. In the garden there is a small museum and a tea house.
- 1 bazaar. Kashan has a very large completely covered bazaar which is still very active today. The old caravanserais, which are housed under huge domed vaults, are worth seeing in the bazaar. Also worth seeing is the former bathhouse, which has been converted into a restaurant.
- 3 Ṭabāṭabāʾī house (Ḫāne-ye Ṭabāṭabāʾī). The house is a historic merchant's house, since it was built in 1834. Laid out around four inner courtyards, the property impresses with its abundant decorations, paintings and stained glass windows.
- 4 Borudscherdi House (Ḫāne-ye Borūǧerdī). The house was built by a merchant family in 1857 so that he could marry the family who had previously built the Ṭabāṭabāʾī house. The complex has a large inner courtyard, three 40 meter high wind towers and a reception hall richly decorated with paintings. From the street you come through an inconspicuous tunnel.
