Three sisters
In Aboriginal mythology, three sisters were transformed into these three well-known pinnacles on the edge of a ridge. They are easy to see from Echo Point Lookout, which is about 2 km from Katoomba. From here, numerous hiking trails lead through the area, the one particularly well-known Prince Henry Cliff Walk, that leads to Scenic World and the Giant stairway towards the Three Sisters.

At the bottom one is expected by a lush fauna with tree ferns. The sensitive vegetation is protected by wooden walkways that should not be left. Part of the path is not suitable for wheelchair users because of the stairs. In addition to the flora, you can also see an old coal mine from 1878. A second cable car gondola partly has a glass floor, it goes horizontally over a gorge, from here you have a good view of the Three sisters. but also to the cascades of the Katoomba waterfalls.
