Koh Russei (Khmer: កោះ ឬ ស្សី) is an island 10 kilometers off the coast at Sihanoukville.
getting there
The partner guest houses in Sihanoukville can organize a journey. If you want to organize a trip to the island yourself, you can get a boat from the Sunset Café on Occidental Beach ($ 5) or charter a boat on the beach near Ream Naval Base (behind Sihanoukville's airport).

The island has beautiful beaches. between the north and south-west it is only a 10-minute walk through the jungle.

There are now four accommodations on the island. All offer simple bungalows. With two accommodations, the owner takes care of everything necessary on site. Sometimes you feel a little better cared for there.
Three accommodations are located in the north of the island and overlook the Cambodian coast:
- Kenny's bungalows. The two bungalows and the good restaurant are run by Kenny, a Cambodian who returned from America. The facility opened in December 2007.
- BimBamBoo. 16 bungalows on a beautiful white stretch of beach, 8 more are set back a little. All bungalows have their own bathroom.
- Coasters. The 10 bungalows are run by the same owners who also look after the guest house of the same name on Occheuteal Beach.
There is accommodation on the southwest side:
- Coasters. The accommodation offers 10 simple bungalows in need of renovation, but on the most beautiful beach on the island. During the day, the bar of the same name on Occheuteal Beach brings many guests here.
