Koltaev is a village with about 400 inhabitants, located in Greater Poland Voivodeshipin the middle Ostrów County and Ostrów Wielkopolski commune. It is located approximately 4 km north of Ostrów Wielkopolski (connection by public transport buses), by the poviat road to Lewkow. There is a train station at the eastern end of the village Ice axeswhere passenger trains on the Ostrów route stop Kalisz.
