Tjakupai at a demonstration
- Birdworld. With the native bird species, next to it a butterfly farm and a noctarium for observing nocturnal native animals.
- Skyrail. The Skyrail cable car was built in 1994/95, with most of the supports being installed by helicopter to protect the environment. It is 7.5 km long and leads at lofty heights over the tops of the rainforest. Start is on Kuranda Terminal, there are intermediate stops on Red Peak and the grandiose ones Barron Falls, the terminus on Caravonica Terminal can be reached after approx. 1 hour drive.
- Tjakupai. The cultural center of the Tjakupai Aborigines is at Caravonica Terminal. They offer demonstrations of traditional dances, show how to make a fire, teach children to throw the boomerang and play didjeridoo.
