Kąty Śląskie is a village of about 150 inhabitants, located in Greater Poland Voivodeshipin the southwestern part Ostrów County and in the south-east of the Sosno commune. History
The village was first mentioned in 1305. In 1354 it was the estate of Kąty and Zomel, duke Konrad gave as a fief to Thom v. Hanna. From 1481, Kąty Śląskie was in the hands of Mikołaj Karzgboland. In the years 1556 - 1886 the village belonged to the Międzyborskie estate and then it became part of the estate of Hugo v. Reichenbach and his heirs. In 1909 They were bought by baron Daniel von Diergardt and joined to the estate My Will. In 1785 the village was inhabited by 203 people, and in 1886 the Kącki estate covered 239 hectares with a water mill.
