Le Marin is a city in Martinique.
background
The small town with the sub-prefecture for Martinique-Süd lies at the end of the deeply cut bay of Cul De Sac Marin. Because of its strategic location, it was attacked many times by English troops centuries ago. In 1891 and 1903 hurricanes destroyed almost everything that had been built there.
This is now one of the largest and most popular marinas in the southern Caribbean, with a large marina. The bay has many shallows and is only navigable in the middle. There is an immigration and customs authority for sailors in the marina.

By boat
The Cul-de-Sac de Marin is a deeply cut bay full of sandbanks and shallow water and is therefore difficult to navigate. The port is the entry point, there are immigration and customs authorities, ship diesel engines and dock facilities. The port is dominated by CarenAntilles on the west and SAEPP on the east, better known as Port du Plaisance or simply Marina.
