Letchworth State Park is a state park in US- federal state new York. The park, also known as the "Grand Canyon of the East", extends for around 15 miles along the border of Wyoming County and Livingston County in northwest New York.

The park is formed by a deep gorge that the Genesee River has dug at this point. In addition to three large waterfalls (Upper Falls, Middle Falls, Lower Falls), around 50 other smaller falls can be seen.

The park has entrances at Portage (south), Perry (northwest) and Mount Morris (northeast).
Fees / permits
A fee of $ 6 per vehicle is charged to visit the park. Cash is only available between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m., even on days with longer opening times. The park is open daily from sunrise to sunset.
mobility
Letchworth State Park is not for wheelchair users, pediatric patients, and families with strollers. You don't get very far by car. The gorge can only be hiked on foot along a path with hundreds of steps.

The park's campsite is one of the most popular in the country. In addition to 270 parking spaces, there are 82 Cabins available that can accommodate up to 6 people.
