background

Louisville Metro Hall

Louisville is a city on Ohio in the north of the state Kentucky and lies on the border with the neighboring state Indiana. It was founded in 1778 and named after the French King Louis XVI, who supported the United States in the struggle for independence. The name of the city is therefore always pronounced with a hint of French. The city of Louisville merged with the surrounding area in 2003 Jefferson County to Louisville Metro with a total of around 740,000 inhabitants. Central Louisville is dominated by modern American buildings, but the neighborhoods are home to a large number of Victorian-style mansions.
