To look at
- Montagne de Bueren. Near the Citadel, is one of the most remarkable streets of Liège. It is a staircase with 374 steps. Dating back to 1881, the staircase connects the citadel hill and the old city center. It was built to give direct access to the center of Liège to the garrisons that were stationed at the Castle at the top of the mountain. In this way they wanted to avoid military losses in the orchards of Pérî and the district of Pierreuse.
