nightlife
Since Mamaia is one of the bigger cities by the sea, there is always something going on. Some foreign tourists can be found, but also many Romanians spend their holidays here. Several clubs can be found on the promenade that leads along in front of the beach, including the famous Crystal Club, equipped with a swimming pool, sofa corners, many scantily clad dancers and much more - here it is not uncommon for someone to stand in front of the door other Ferrari or Lamborghini around ... There are also nice locations right on the beach. Those who want to take it easy in the evening prefer to stay on the beach. The music doesn't boom quite as loud there, you don't pay admission, you can move around freely, but also here dance and drink and have fun until you drop. Smaller bars such as "Copacabana" are recommended, where you can sit comfortably and, if there is action, get up and step onto the dance floor, which is mostly set up in the middle of the beach.
accommodation
If you can speak the local language, it is best to travel without having a place to stay. You can then speak to locals on site and you will almost certainly be offered a room or even a whole part of a private house. Advantage: much cheaper, more freedom than in a hotel.
