Meulaboh is a port city in the Indonesian province Aceh.

The city lost around 40,000 of its residents during the 2004 tsunami.
In 1989 a film was made about the freedom fighter, "Tjoet Nja 'Dhien". She fought against the colonial rule of the Dutch for 25 years.

The airport was named after the freedom fighter and is now called: "Cut Nyak Dhien"
