Miami Beach is about 6 km east of Miami on a peninsula in the Miami-Dade County. The Northern part the 16 km long island is characterized by towering condominiums, luxury hotels and residential neighborhoods. He is through the 43rd Street in the south and 85th Street edged in the north.

- 1 Carl G. Fisher Monument, Alton Road / Lakeview Drive. The monument consists of a bust of Fischer attached to a large foundation. This is a tribute to the man who helped Miami Beach to justify by donating many parks and public beaches to the city in a document.

- The most famous attraction of Miami Beach is the South Beach with the 3 Art Deco District on Ocean Drive. There are over 900 buildings from the 1930s and 1940s in the Art Deco style.

Most of the activities take place on the sandy beach that forms the entire eastern border of Miami Beach and is freely accessible. Most bathing visitors can be found between 5th and 22nd streets. Towards the north the beach becomes much emptier.
A popular running route is from the southern tip to 44th street right on the beach (boardwalk).
