- 1 Adamantas (Αδάμαντας Μήλου). Nice port where the ferries dock with a small marina.
- 2 Plaka (Πλάκα Μήλου). Main town (meanwhile almost grown together with Tripita). Plaka is the most picturesque village on Milos, also known as Chora, perched on a rocky promontory above the main port of Adamantas. A path leads to the Venetian castle above, which also houses the Church of Panagia Skiniotissa. On the way you pass the beautiful church of Panagia Thalassitra. Witness the beautiful sunset from the castle or from a balcony overlooking the sea and the church of Panagia Korfiatissa.
- 3 Trypiti. is a traditional settlement with white houses and windmills, ideal for a quiet afternoon stroll. Nearby are a number of catacombs, some of the largest in Greece, carved out of the volcanic rock in early Christian times.
- 4 climate. Klima is known for its traditional fishermen's houses, in which the cellar was carved out of the soft rock and serves as a winter berth for boats, while the main house is on the ground floor above.
