Minas Basin is a region in Nova Scotia (Nova Scotia). It owes its attractiveness to its location on the Bay of Fundy and the Minas Basin, both of which have extremely high tidal ranges and are bordered by dramatic cliffs.
The region includes large parts of the counties of Cumberland, Colchester and Hants.

Tourist Attractions
- The Joggins Fossil Cliffs at Amherst are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
- Cape D’or Lighthouse, Cape Dor Rd, Diligent River. One of the most beautiful lighthouses on the Bay of Fundy.
- Burntcoat Head Lighthouse, 611 Burntcoat Rd, Noel. Well worth seeing coastal park with lighthouse, which - like many others in this region - boasts of having the highest tidal range in the world.

- Victoria Park, 29 Park Rd, Truro. Wonderful city park with a canyon, waterfalls and lushly shaded hiking trails.
