- 1 The Brandenburg Gate (Brandenburger Tor) – It stands at the western entrance to old Berlin and is a symbol of the city, but for almost three decades was the symbol of the city's division: the monument was an integral part of the Berlin Wall. It was built from 1788 to 1791 in the neoclassical style, taking inspiration from the Propylaea in the Acropolis of Athens.

Free entry. – Located in the heart of Berlin, it is the main Holocaust remembrance site in Germany. The idea of creating a place of commemoration born at the end of the 1980s at the initiative of a group of citizens led by journalist Lea Rosh and historian Eberhard Jäckel. The decision to build the memorial was taken on June 25, 1999. Construction began on June 1er April 2003 and it opens to the public on May 12, 2005. One of the important spaces is the stelae field which extends over 19,000 m² and which accommodates 2,711 concrete blocks. In the memorial, it is a route of 7 rooms. A guided tour is offered for 2 €.

The memorial was designed by Danish artists Michael Elmgreen and Norwegian Ingar Dragset.
- 21 Memorial to European Roma murdered during Nazism (Denkmal für die im Nationalsozialismus ermordeten Sinti und Roma Europas) – The memorial pays homage to the Porajmos, Roma and Sinti executed under the Third Reich. Designed by architect Dani Karavan, the memorial was inaugurated on October 24, 2012.
- 22 Soviet Tiergarten Memorial (Sowjetische Ehrenmal im Tiergarten) – This memorial is dedicated to the 81,116 Red Army fighters who fell during the Battle of Berlin in April-May 1945.

- 26 Potsdamer Platz – a square and major road intersection. Important center of Berlin before the Second World War, it became a "no man's land" after the construction of the wall because it was located on the border. It now contains a number of buildings of modern architecture.
- 27 Sony Center (Potsdamer Platz) – Sony built its European headquarters there. The place includes a complex with large restaurant chains and a cinema. The attraction is above all architectural.

- 3 Checkpoint Charlie – It is one of the border posts in Berlin which, during the Cold War, made it possible to cross the wall that divided the German capital between the western sector and the eastern sector. It was located on Friedrichstraße, on the border between the districts of Mitte (in the Soviet sector) and Kreuzberg (in the American sector). Today, it is a crossing point for tourists who are in such a hurry to be photographed with extras in uniform.

It is installed in a building by the architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, representative of the Bauhaus school. The Museum offers works from Cubism, Expressionism, Bauhaus and Surrealism in its permanent collections. The following are represented in particular: George Grosz, Pablo Picasso, Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Joan Miró, Wassily Kandinsky and Barnett Newman.

Near East Department
This part of the Pergamon Archaeological Museum houses the Ishtar Gate in particular. It is one of the eight gates of the inner city of Babylon. It is located north of the city and was built by order of King Nebuchadnezzar II. This door is dedicated to the goddess Ishtar.
Hellenistic world
This part of the museum is made up of the great Pergamon Altar - it is currently under restoration - and the Miletus market gate.

One of the highlights of this part is the bas relief of Mchatta Palace. The remains of the palace were discovered in 1840. There is also a dome of the Alhambra.
