This port on the northern tip of Andros is said to have served the pirate Henry Morgan as a treasure hiding place. Today the importance lies in the daily shipment of around 12 million liters of drinking water to the island of New Providence and the capital Nassau. The long but narrow sandy beach at the harbor can have a single bar.
