Móstoles is a city in a metropolitan area Madrid, it has more than 200,000 inhabitants and is about 25 km southwest of Madrid.

Móstoles is located in the Iberian highlands at an altitude of 665 m. The city was predominantly agricultural, its products were sold in the nearby capital Madrid. In the meantime, industry and services are Móstoles' main occupations, agriculture only plays a subordinate role.
