The Nambung National Park (engl. Nambung National Park) is in the west Australia.
background
The Nambung National Park 250 km north of Perth is one of the most beautiful in the state and thanks to the rock formations the Pinnacle Desert well known.
history
The park was established in 1968.
landscape
The sight of the up to 4 m high limestone columns is reminiscent of tombstones from a cemetery. Hundreds of such rock peaks protrude from the yellow sand and were created by the deposits of lime and quartz sand that has settled in dead root canals. They were then exposed by the corrosion of the wind. In addition, there are up to 50m high white sand dunes in the vicinity of the park. A great contrast. The best time to take pictures is in the late afternoon, as the setting sun will warm the light.
Flora and fauna
The best time to travel is the Australian spring, as the plants bloom throughout the state. Around 7,000 different types of flowers are known.
climate
