Namche Bazaar
Namche Bazaar is the unofficial capital of the Solu Khumbu region of Nepal and an important departure point for trekkers and climbers to Mount Everest base camp. The village is situated on the sloping mountain slopes with an excellent view of the mountains along the valley. With an altitude of 3500 meters, most travelers prefer to stay here for at least two nights for acclimatization.
