Newcastle is a city in Nevis.
background
At the northern tip of the island is the small town of Newcastle and the airport. In this place you can find several families of potters who work according to old traditions, use red clay and fire their kilns with coconut wood.
1½ km east of Newcastle behind the Nisbett plantation you reach the village of Camps. a well-developed back road turns there to the south and runs around the Round Hill hill to the west coast to Cades Bay. This takes you through the towns of Scarborough, Mount Lily, Fountain and Westbury.

- Lover’s Beach. Undeveloped beach with palm trees and trees in the flight path of the airfield. From there you can see across the strait to St. Kitts. The beach can only be reached via a path.
- Newcastle Beach. Small, very narrow sandy beach with some larger rocks and palm trees that are almost in the sea. There you can also watch the planes take off and land.
- Nisbet Beach. White coral sand beach with lots of shady palm trees, breakwaters, deck chairs, restaurant, beach bars.
