Map of Ngaoundéré
Ngaoundéré has its own airport but there are no scheduled services. Nearest airport is in Garoua, a four hour bus drive to the north. Several overland options are available, both buses and private taxis travel from Douala, the capital Yaoundé and other nearby cities, however expect a slow ride.
The railways in Cameroon has its northern terminus here. Camrail runs an daily overnight train from Yaoundé, the train has both seats and couchettes. Additionally, a much slower service runs three times per week, calling in more remote stations.
