Niagara Falls is a city in Western New York in the US- federal state new York.

Niagara Falls, a border town with Canada, lies directly on the Niagara Fallsthat you get from the Canadian side but can see better from it.

Niagara Falls was declared a city in 1892. While the Canadian twin city began to build a spectacular tourism industry in the 1990s, Niagara Falls, NY has remained more modest and less commercial in appearance to this day.

By plane

The closest airport is the Niagara Falls International Airport (IAG), but only from the small charter airline Myrtle Beach Direct Air is approached.

Better connections are offered by the one on the edge of Buffalo located Buffalo Niagara International Airport (BUF)which is served daily from many major American airports (e.g. New York City, Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Detroit, Orlando, Philadelphia, Phoenix).

By train

The American railroad company Amtrak operates in both im Canadian as well as a train station in Niagara Falls, America. Over the lines Empire service and Maple Leaf there are direct connections to New York City and Toronto.
