The North West region of Cameroon (North West Region). English is mainly spoken in this part of Cameroon. The capital of this region is Bamenda. The North-West region is subdivided into several 'divisions'. Namely: Bui, Mezam, Donga-Mantung, Momo and Menchum. The capitals of these divisions are Kumbo, Bamenda, Nkambe, Mbengwi and Wum respectively. Bamenda is thus the capital of the region, as well as the capital of the Mezam division. Within the divisions there are subdivisions into sub-divisions. So is Bafut and sub-division of Mezam.
