The "North Sound Road" leads from the airport and harbor in Spanish Town to South Sound Bay and further north to the pier at Gun Creek and the village of Gun Creek Settlement. There is a 300 m wide strip of land between the south and north coast. There is a boat connection to Biras Creek from the pier in Gun Creek. From the South Sound, the street "Leverick Bay Road" runs past Bay Hill and Bakers Bay to the North Side and Leverick Bay.

The North Sound Express ferry, tel. 495-2138, operates daily on the Beef Island - The Valley / Spanish Town - Leverick Bay - Bitter End route. Departures from Leverick Bay at 6:45 a.m., 8:40 a.m., 11:40 a.m., 3:15 p.m. and 4:45 p.m.
From the jetty in Gun Creek, a ferry runs to Saba Rock Island (2.2 km north) between Prickly Pear Island and the Bitter End Marina. Info phone for departure times: 495-7711.
