The New South Wales is a state Australian located in the South-East of the country.

As the main territory of the first British colony on the continent Australian Settled in 1788, New South Wales includes the largest and oldest city in the country: Sydney, which is also the capital of this state. In the south-east of the state is also the capital of the country: Canberra. Three other Australian states border New South Wales: the State of Victoria to the south, theSouth Australia to the west and the Queensland North.
Story
Land of aboriginal tribes for thousands of years, New South Wales was not settled by the Europeans that at the beginning of XIXe century. Colonization of inland lands was first prevented by the Blue Mountains. Sydney was established in 1788, but settlers did not cross the mountains until 1813 and the first town inland was not founded until 1815. It was Bathurst.
Geography
New South Wales is the most populous state inAustralia. Most of the population is concentrated in Sydney which groups 4.2 million inhabitants on 6.7 million in the state of New South Wales. The other major cities in the state are Newcastle and Wollongong. Although the cultural sites are mostly concentrated in Sydney and the surrounding area, most of the most beautiful natural sites are located outside the city of Sydney.

As this is a former British colony, driving is on the left side of the road and the steering wheel is on the right in vehicles. The speeds and distances are expressed according to the metric system.

New South Wales has an excellent road network crisscrossing its entire territory, highways are more or less present along the Pacific coast and around Sydney.
