An exotic place surrounded by tropical rainforest and in front of the Pacific Ocean, with a small population of 7,300 inhabitants and an area of 46,530 square km, it is one of the least populated municipalities in the country. Immersed in the biogeographic Chocó, it has the conditions of a tropical rainforest. Nuquí is more easily reached by air. Continuation of the airlines that make flights to NuquíADA: flies from Medellín on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. SATEN: flies from Cali and Bogotá on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.AEXPA: flies from Pereira and Quibdo from Monday to Saturday.

The gastronomy of Nuquí is characterized by the use of fish and shellfish as the main source of protein, coconut milk is used to transform rice into an exquisite dish. Always accompanied with banana, yucca, popocho, achín in different presentations.There are a variety of fruits with which juices, jams, and desserts are made such as borojó, lulo, almirajó, banana, pineapple, papaya, lemons, carambola and chontaduro.
